*comic-chic tagged me for this meme --- gulp --- last February. That's right, it took me three months to get this done.

At least it's done though, yes?

8 Random Facts About Me:

1) My dreams are like a television series; there are continual episodes. Like I'll dream of three old ladies telling me of my true superhuman self one night. Then the next night, I'll dream buildings blow up and I'm doing extremely cool things. The night after, I'll dream of having an identity crisis as the baddies take my family hostage. And so on... These dreams can go on for weeks. I can write books on them.

2) The first thing I drew was a mannequin wearing a dress I'd designed. I was three years old, and being that age is why I drew it in a children's book. I didn't know any better.

Now that I think of it, this probably resulted from watching my Mom sketch office uniforms.

3) Anyone who knows me will tell you I love to read a lot. I've got a book or two with me everywhere I go. I even remember holding detective novels while playing in the school playground back in kindergarten.

4) I learned how to use Adobe Photoshop from a thick how-to book years ago.

5) I play the violin, the piano, and the guitar. The violin's my favorite though; I play two or three times a week in church.

6) I regret turning down an offer to write regularly for an international magazine. I was six years old at the time, and too scared to take it. I still wonder how different I might be now if I had said yes.

7) I knit a lot. I have large yarn stashes in my room, and have a few projects on the back burner. The last thing I knitted was a stuffed pink and yellow rabbit a foot tall.

8) I almost drowned when I was two years old. I flipped over my colorful life-preserver, and couldn't get back up. I freaked out my Mom, and learned to swim at about the same time.
