Time just flies by when I'm not paying attention.
I have been making things though they've been in progress for months and months.
There were just so many changes in my life; the only creative things I've finished are for work. Work, as in I'm not a student anymore as I was at the last journal entry.
So a summary of my years of silence: I graduated, worked, went to the US of A (& Japan & Germany & France & China &... You get the idea.), took classes to review what I'd learned in college, took the Chemical Engineering Licensure Exam, passed said exam (& became a bonafide chemical engineer with all the trappings), traveled around the country, and went to work full-time. In the midst of it, I cooked, baked, knitted, played my violin for a number of occasions (weddings, parties, and other events), and grew up a bit more. I made new friends and kept old ones while inevitably losing touch with a few. I became even closer to my already close-knit family, which I am very grateful for.
Everything just happened so quickly. I'm only starting to feel my life settle down this month.
Which means my need to create something that is not for work has resurfaced and is waiting to be scratched. I'll be posting some new stuff soon.
And happy holidays, everyone!
